Hey there all

Today we updated all hosted forums to the latest version of phpbb which is 3.0.4. This update fixes a few bugs and should speed up forums (it wont be a massive amount but you may notice it) and mysql queries a bit.

This update was a fairly big one and as a result you may find that some mods are not working correctly, if this is the case please let us know over at the support forum http://www.phpbbhosts.co.uk/support

In addition to this KRB one of our mods has made some changes to the custom profile fields so you may have to reset your apropriate gender in the user control panel under profile.

this update was done to deter/stop spam bots/spammers at registration

So i hope you enjoy your forums and the new speed

Now, I must say, there is a HUGE noticeable difference in speed, this is much speedier and for that, I thank you. However, there is a problem with the Portal System. My theme is AcidTechPurpleEx and the "Portal" function on the forums do not work. I then go into the ACP, click on the "Portal" tab and the following pops up:
Code: Select all
General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]

Table 'gavpedz_phpbbhsfour.PORTAL_CONFIG_TABLE' doesn't exist [1146]

SQL

SELECT config_name, config_value FROM PORTAL_CONFIG_TABLE

BACKTRACE

FILE: includes/db/mysql.php
LINE: 174
CALL: dbal->sql_error()

FILE: portal/includes/functions.php
LINE: 32
CALL: dbal_mysql->sql_query()

FILE: includes/acp/acp_portal.php

CALL: obtain_portal_config()

FILE: includes/functions_module.php

CALL: acp_portal->main()

FILE: adm/index.php

CALL: p_master->load_active()

Just a heads up there.
