Do seem to have recovered all my members now, but everyone is having to experiment with different browsers & there seems to be no pattern to which ones work/don't work even amongst people using the same hardware. Safari & Firefox seem to be the most stable. I also find the forum has speeded up & one other person who has always complained of it being painfully slow is now hurtling along! Hopefully all the spam clearance has helped. Don't know if anyone is reading this BTW but if you are & you have sorted things then "thanks!"

Thanks for posting. I had the same problem but contacted Sander via Twitter and it was restored.
One issue was apparently the fact that not 50% of the posts were in a public area, however, I had a really difficult time making anything viewable by 'Guests' despite putting a lot of time and effort into resolving it.

In the end the fix was to create a user in the group 'Guest' with the name Anonymous.
This opened up an area of the board for public viewing.

I've had my Board since 2008 and don't remember the 50% rule when I created it. I don't have any problem with the ruling, I just had a really hard time sorting it out, so hope this info helps other people.

Some of my members are also finding it impossible to log in. They try and then get returned to the log in page every time.

Our members had the same problem but persevered and once they got on once it was fine.

I still have people who can't use with FF despite purging the cache, deleting cookies etc. etc.
Actually there seems to be little Support but lots of spam members posting spurious links that are supposed to be reviews of kitchens, as if anyone would click on those

Ah yes, it's back up, I am able to log back in, and so far the other people in my forum seem to have no problem as well. I will report problems, should they eventually arise here.

So far though, thank you.
